The Air Jordan 1 High 85 “Black/White” is the modern re-issue of an original colorway of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe. The Jordan 1 High ‘85 debuted in 2020 as an alternate version of the retro basketball shoe that’s based on its original silhouette from 1985. The model has been released in several vintage-inspired colorways over the past few years, including this “Black/White” style that brings back one of the Jordan 1’s most popular, albeit somewhat rare colorways. Details specific to the original Jordan 1 from ‘85 are found throughout the design, including accurate-to-original panel shapes, and texture on the rubber midsole. The shoe features a white leather base with black leather overlays and Swoosh branding. A white “Wings” logo is found on the collar and “Nike Air” branding appears on the tongue tag.

The 2023 version of the “Playoffs” is a true one-to-one remaster of the original iteration of the shoe that was released in 1998. The colorway features a dotted black leather upper, a black leather toe, and black suede mudguard. A holographic, panther-eye-inspired emblem is found on the lateral side of the collar. Classic Jumpman branding appears in red within a yellow embroidered circle on the tongue. “Jordan” detailing is found on the vamp. White midsole walls complete the look of this classic sneaker.

The Air Jordan 12 “Black Taxi” is a mostly monochromatic black colorway of Michael Jordan’s twelfth signature shoe that references its original “Taxi” look, but with a twist. The “Black Taxi,” as suggested by its nickname, updates the Jordan 12’s original “Taxi” colorway with black accents in lieu of the “Taxi’s” predominantly white upper. The “Black Taxi” features a black leather upper instead of the “Taxi’s” white leather construction. A tonal synthetic textured mudguard ties into the colorway’s stealthy vibe. Yellow accents come into play on the eyelets and on the midfoot overlay with “Jumpman” branding. Additional pops of yellow are found on the embroidered Jumpman and “Two 3” logos on the tongue. The shoe’s black foam midsole ties the look together while providing a comfortable ride due to Nike’s embedded Zoom Air cushioning technology.

Here, the Jordan 1 “True Blue” features a white leather construction with True Blue-colored leather on the toe cap, forefoot, eyelets, and Swoosh. The Travis Scott x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 High OG “Military Blue” is a three way collaboration between the Houston rapper, the Japanese streetwear outfit, and Jordan Brand on Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe. Released alongside an Air Jordan 1 Low, the Travis Scott and Hiroshi Fujiwara-designed high-top Jordan 1 “Military Blue” combines the distinct aesthetics of both Scott and Fujiwara on the iconic retro basketball shoe. Supple Military Blue leather appears on the perforated toe and on the collar and heel. Contrasting white tumbled leather is located on the toe cap, forefoot, eyelets, and mid-panel. The oversized backwards black leather Swoosh is a call back to the styling of the hip-hop star’s first Air Jordan 1 collaboration from 2019. A black “Wings” logo resides on the collar. Industrial-style branding, as seen on fragment’s collaborations with Nike and Jordan Brand in the past, appears in black text on the medial side of the cream rubber midsole. Dual “Cactus Jack” and Fragment insignia can be found on the back of the left and right shoe, respectively. The Travis Scott x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 High OG “Military Blue” is one of the most desirable sneaker releases of 2021
